New Horizon gurukul Issues

1. The admission process was not transparent, till last minute the fee structure not known.
2. The transport not good.
3. School timings not conducive for small kids, they face a lot of traffic.
4. Infrastructure not completed yet. Construction is still going on there is lot of dust and unhealthy foul smell.

We also faced the same problem of not clear fee structure, but in the end understood the real reason. After our kid got admission, we were called and they shamelessly asked a donation of 2 lac, upon asking why - no reason, rather we got a reply .. take it or leave it ... many are waiting. Most likely the reason for this special treatment for us was our NRI status, but in the hindsight we are thankful that they showed us their values before rather than later. Part of the reason we had chosen this school was their stated vision: "To provide a strong value - oriented education based on the principles and philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita." We got our son admitted in another school which had a much clear (posted on website) free structure.

Unfortunately these things are common in India, reason for this post is to make you guys aware, keep pressure on mgmt, ask them to create a Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
